Yeah, probably publicity stunt. People are starting to buy those Google phones.

I read the article and few other stories, I don't recall the guy/gal being let go? Was this the person let go or am I being tricked by the title?

If it wasn't a publicity stunt at the start it wouldn't be a bad idea for the company to just make it into that. It's getting them enough publicity as is why not just use that perspective in your favor instead of getting all pissy?
