What a shame you have an elderly man,and I'm not saying he may not have resisted arrest,but two officers the beating alone and that severe,seems too me they went beyond and out of control.I hope D.D. and pray for him and his family.

A Beating?

If the man is truly in a coma well, this is not a beating. This is attempted Murder. I sure hope this is not true, and especially not with racial motivation.

I have seen racial hatred from both the white and black. It is very scary.

I was unlucky enough to be caught up in the L.A. Riots. I was running red lights trying to make it to the 101 Freeway and home to Glendale California. My truck took a brick to the passenger side of the windshield.

For the next 6 months after that I drove around with a .38 in the glove box, and a .25 Beretta in an ankle holster.

Driver is coming home tonight

Makes you wonder what the effect would be if the officers did this out of racial thinking, especially with the racial reactions to Obama I've been seeing in the news lately.

Ofcourse nothing's sure just yet and, like said before, the truth will most likely somewhere in between these story's.

If Driver's story is true, it might just be adding more fuel to the fire.

the so-called 'racial reactions' to Obama are mostly a fraud. Just like the 'kill him' comment that was reported, that turned out to be false.

I agreed with you Roddyboy until that last remark. That itself seems a bit racist to me.

Bottom line is, Drivers WAS beaten to a pulp. Those officers should be fired and reprimanded for it.

I am concerned for our president elect. The racial divide has just gotten stronger...

It seems odd that the republican party got the red designation in the elections. and the democrats the blue... Democrats being considered"left", shoulod THEY not have gotten that designation?
