Just a note.. you can change your own posts up or down "meter".

I'm not a fan of up/down yourself, but there is a fix for that too. I'm not confident in my javascript coding enough to give it a go just yet.

My main point was that you can't have much of an effect, because you can only thumbs-up or -down a post once. So it's not like anyone can stuff the ballot box.
