Did some optimization tweaks, let's see if that speeds things up.

I know the look of the site is terrible, I haven't worked on that yet. I'm more interested in feedback on the features of the site and opinions on them.

There is a ShoutBox, but I don't like it, so I'll be creating that myself. The only other option for a ShoutBox is paying $20 for one, and that will not happen. I have daughters to blow money away on, not a hobby. :)

We're working on functionality first, then appearance last. I'll be coding the shoutbox myself. It'll be the shiznit.

I'm burning the candle on both ends working on getting this done right the first time. There is a chance (as suggested by Shawn) we'll figure out a way to reference this database for archival purposes and start fresh with the new site. That's the last resort if I'm unable to adequately import the data.
