Okay, I need some of you folks to play around with the new website.

I'm aware it looks like trash, spare me. :)

Please provide feedback of any kind.

"I like it because ..."
"I dislike it because ..."

Those are the type of comments I'm looking for here.

Pay no attention to the URL's name, it's simply a placeholder, that is all.

My first comments:
1. Page loading seems slow.
2. Is "Thanks" the replacement for applause? I know this is one thing you're not a particular fan of, Kevin, but I'm one of those applause whores. And i never did figure out how you give/get kudos. :)
3. I've never been much of a fan for "vote up/down", even though I know its sort of become a default everywhere. Put this down as a "dislike". Goddamn Facebook/Twitterverse shit.
4. Are you going to have more text-editing boxes like this one? Emoticons? For the computer idiot like me, these are a godsend.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

i like that the chat doesn't need it's own window (!)

99% of the time I would open chat, and "x" out of PH.

saves me some clickin.

1 - Initial page loading was slow ... but after the queries and what not have cached, it loads as fast as this one. I'm hoping others notice the trend as well.

2 - I like the Applause feature here, not sure why you say otherwise. I am the one who "created" it after all.

3 - Like/Dislike a post. This concept will stay, however, I'll be modifying it a bit.

4 - There are several text editors available to the members of the site. You can actually choose which editor you want, TinyMCE, BBCode, etc. You can even post HTML (your Table's you asked about).

The software comes with a points system already. I believe the points are basted on posts Thanked and how many posts. I'm not sure, but it's a system I'm confident I can modify to be suitable.

You can thank any post and each thank gives the member a point(s).

There's also points based on posts too.

That stuff I haven't completely hammered out just yet.

I know the look of the site is terrible, I haven't worked on that yet. I'm more interested in feedback on the features of the site and opinions on them.

There is a ShoutBox, but I don't like it, so I'll be creating that myself. The only other option for a ShoutBox is paying $20 for one, and that will not happen. I have daughters to blow money away on, not a hobby. 🙂

Frankly the image manager sucks.

Inserting an image to a post is beyond difficult.

Too much white background. The more I play around there the less I like. Not permitted to start image album.

Hmm, interesting. Can you tell me which editor you are using?
Click HERE  and you'll see toward the bottom which text editor you're using. There's about 7 I think.

Wade, I think the speed has picked up. I'm experiencing instant page loads as I bounce back an forth working on image displaying and editing the settings.

Feel free to use whichever name you want. The posts and members are going to all be wiped out when the data merge is done. That's FAR into the future though, like MONTHS at the least.

I just need members to come test things out, tell me what's not working, what is working, how to improve features ... things like that. More traffic, the better.

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.

Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
