NFL.com player profile shows Harvin at 5'11" and 184lbs. The site I read yesterday nfldraftscout.com shows Cobb at both 5'11" and 5'10.25"and both 191 and 186 lbs. NFL.com player profile shows Cobb at 5'10" and 191 lbs.

Calling Cobb short for less than an inch difference is like calling Harvin lightweight for being 2lbs lighter.

I wasn't calling Harvin a lightweight. It was a ridiculous statement to illustrate how ridiculous the statements you made are. Harvin is as much a lightweight as Cobb is short.

I have never been able to lure you into my "let's pee in the cheeseheads cheerios" and see how many I can get riled up today, shtick.

I still have hopes for young Dexter, but as he is still in his 'rookie" season here, he's just not used to my brilliant and provocative thought process.
His "I shouldn't have to explain that" comment is right up there with "Oh ya, same to you".
But Dexter is an intelligent guy, and does show potential. I do however, expect to see improvement in the future.
I think that we need to get him to do a member interview..... let's see what makes Dexter_Sinister tick.

OK, humor aside.
Cobb has the potential, there is no doubt about that.
And as I stated in my initial comment in this thread "Actually, it should be interesting to see how/if he (Cobb) develops", we will see what transpires for young Cobb.

And as to William Percival Harvin III , most excellent moniker that it is, I am very glad that he went with Percy. It just wouldn't be right to call him Bill.
But his migraine issue is of great concern. I really hope that he can somehow get rid of them.
A good friend of mine suffers from migraines and it pretty much devastates him when he gets them.
He is especially sensitive to light and sound, and it pretty much takes him down for the count.

Forgive me for being unimaginative...

No matter how many records AP breaks, or how many TDs Percy scores in a game...If they never win a SB, I will always bring that up 1st, cuz it is all that matters..

I agree. Migraines are terribly debilitating. My wife and son and my brother all get them. I would not wish them on anyone.

I'm not surprised that 5'10" is being called short and 5'11" is not, afterall I did read on this very board where 33" arms is SHORT, but 36" arms are LONG. 🙂

I don't think it's fair to compare Cobb to Harvin. Harvin is already a tremendous talent in the NFL. He also has more straightline speed, although I think Cobb is more versatile.

I think the comparison is interesting, though, when you consider how Harvin opened up the Vikings' offense. Cobb should be capable of expanding the playbook for the Packers in much the same way.

WR screens and quick outs, crossing patterns (the bane of many a defense), etc. will make this offense FEARSOME, especially when you think about how stressed the coverage will be already with Jennings/Finley/etc. stretching them out.

And as I've mentioned before, 5'10" is hardly an issue, especially when you have Rodgers delivering the ball.
