I definitely think it is a concentration thing. I think he has decent hands and that makes him think he'll automatically catch it. He ends up looking where to run too soon.

When you can make the difficult catches, but not the easy ones, it's always because of a lack of concentration. With easy catches, you know they are "routine" so you sort of skip steps in the process of catching the ball. You primary thinking is what you're going to do AFTER you make the catch, but with a difficult catch all of your attention is focused on making the catch.
