She's on the way back. Especially for someone that young, that's amazingly brave and strong. I think that, with spirit and fight like that, you raised her right and she's bound to have a good and succesful life.

It truly is awesome.

I have to share this: last night Mia did something she hasn't done since before the surgery last July, she ran. She ran between our two couches in the rec room. Then I had her run from the end of the hallway to me in the rece room, which is probably about 10 yards. There's still a balance issue, but this was one hell of a milestone she just reached in her recovery.

After she went to bed, I just kind of sat there and cried, mainly tears of joy but also cause I'm a big pussy when it comes to her welfare.

Mia had her six month MRI scan a couple weeks ago and once again it came back negative, which means there is no tumor growing back

Way to go, Mia!

I'd bet you some of the players would be glad to help such a brave little girl attend a game at Lambeau--and I bet they'd give her the red-carpet treatment. Just need to get the attention of the right people...
