When the season ends, no playoff berth, or one and done, you will look back at this thread...

Is this your question?
If so, then my answer is that this thread spells the reason why the season
has prematurely ended.

Listening to your advice would spell the reason why a season will prematurely end.

Rodgers is the better QB, I'm sure you'll agree. But I just don't think he's sufficiently injured, and Flynn able to play at a close enough level, to warrant a switch. With Flynn I think we'd probably lose 2 or 3 more games than if Rodgers had played, and we'd be all but out of the playoffs.

I would rather have a healthy Rodgers going into a playoff game, then someone who may be out for the season after another beat down on a bad wing.

DJ-Do you actually think the Packers stand much of a chance of beating the Bears or Saints with Flynn at quarterback? With the running game we've shown so far this year? I don't--I think we'd lose both and our record would be 4-7. Your 'healthy Rodgers going into a playoff game" is senseless since 4-7 isn't going to get you into the playoffs.

don't worry guys you play the saints in a couple of weeks and you all start singing his praises again, their pass defense is horrible, why is it so hard to understand , rodgers is a average QB behind a average line , the same line that favre made look very good , same goes to your RB a average guy that favre made look very good , find another favre then you'll be very good again , good luck in trying to find one though

if rodgers had thrown some int's in this game & in several others on complete bonehead passes, i'd understand the hate but...since that didn't happen, i say WTF??

also on the whole "holds the ball too long" deal - the guy already sees a guy coming at him untouched, knows he's gonna get the snot kicked outta him, & is STILL trying to complete decent passes - i don't think that's holding onto the ball too long, i think that's balls out taking em for the team. he has no time to see the plays develop & yet he's supposed to in a split second, decide to throw the ball away?? then i'm guessing he'd be nailed for throwing the ball away too much. no win situation when you're losing.

but hey - maybe that's just me. i don't give up on players until THEY give up on this team...period!!

he threw a couple "bonehead passes" the viking players didn't make it count , otherwise the score may have been alot different, the couple i'm talking about is one that hit wyms on the helmet and deflected into drivers hands , and the one that sapp caught and dropped , i'm sure there were more just can't be bothered trying to think of them

Didn't he just basically get two weeks of rest over the bye week?

Rodgers and the Oline didn't handle the pressure well, completely expected for a first year starter. Go back and queue the 49ers game this preseason, Rodgers was healthy as struggled mightily.

When the Oline is a sieve and the dogs are running hot.. a young QB limited in experience will struggle more times than not.. this is a growing pain.. we knew they were coming sooner or later this season.. and almost every QB goes through them.

It isn't like he threw 6 picks in a playoff game..

dfosterf (1h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (1h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (2h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (2h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (2h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (2h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (2h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (2h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (2h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (2h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (2h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (3h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (3h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (4h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (4h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (4h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (20h) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately

Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
