Aikman and Buck were our good luck charm. They were with us for all six of these wins to end the season. So I can't complain too much.

The announcing wasn't the greatest tonight. I recall them showing a play where they said it was a hold on Clay Matthews when that wasn't the call on the field. No. 73 practically tackled Cullen Jenkins.

Ya I yelled out "Tackled him!" when Jenkins went down. Big hold. Oh well, we got the call, regardless.

The Swain call, I still think is bullshit. He got two feet down, and made a move with the football secured. It was a fumble. And it was recovered by the Packers.

Oh well, we won the Super Bowl. Unbelievable. I thought there was no way we'd make it happen after Driver, Shields, Woodson, and finally Collins came out at the end of the first half. But like somebody said earlier, this is how we got here, with "scrubs", and this is how we came out Super Bowl Champions.

I hope that Cliffy, Woodson, and Driver come back next year. Even if we don't win, I think they all have gas left in the tanks.

Personally.. I was extremely disappointed in the last two broadcasts from Fox.. just thought they did a poor job overall. To be fair, they improved yesterday verse the Championship game.

I read somewhere today that during the entire game, Brett Favre was never mentioned. I hadn't noticed. I have to give Aikman and Buck kudos for that.

The same cannot be said for ESPN's postgame show, where they wasted little time going into full-blown Brett Favre circle jerk mode for about five minutes.

I will say this was one of the most abysmal pregame offerings I have ever witnessed. As someone pointed out in the chat room, they hardly talked about the game more than 5 minutes in the entire three hours prior.

Pointless interviews with red-carpet celebrities? Who cares? All it does is emphasize how far out of reach for the average fan attending the Super Bowl is. It's just a playground for the wealthy and privileged these days.

Interminable regurgitations of feel-bad stories like the Roethlisberger sexual assault fiasco? Are you kidding me? Not to mention those inane skits with the players cracking lame jokes as they introducing themselves.

And a 15-minute interview with the President? Seriously? (Not to mention, with the worst schlock jock imaginable, a guy whose only schtick is to never letting his guest finish a complete sentence and to antagonize him incessantly with belligerent and snide remarks.) As Detlev pointed out, we have to be the only nation in the world who would put a political interview on before the biggest game of the sports calendar. Not cool, FOX Sports -- not cool.

It seriously detracted from the pregame experience. Give me commentary, give me analysis, give me historical context, not maudlin fluff.

At least they avoided talking about Favre until after the game.

I just learned that Fergie was one of the people in Black Eyed Peas. My cousin was laughing at me. "You didn't know that?"
