Just now heard about this on the radio and I'm confused.

Must the picture be taken on Tuesday, which is before (Thursday) when the IR players arrive?

Did the Packers say to take the picture Tuesday, rather than Thursday? Does the league disallow the IR players to be in the picture?


Basically, who made what decisions? I've read and heard conflicting reports.


I could understand having the picture taken on Tuesday, since they are getting back into their practice routine on Friday and that would cramp it up a bit, but why not have the IR folks come earlier?


What the hell are the rules about this???

Tuesday is the league mandated "Media Day", so I'm assuming that, yes, the photo must be taken Tuesday.

It really does look like a bit of a personnel and PR faux pas here.

If the IR'd players are going to be "full participants" in the "festivities" starting Thursday, they could just as easily be full participants on Tuesday when the pic is taken.

My bet is that those on IR would value inclusion in that picture highly. We have all read how frustrating it can be to those guys being on the "outside" looking in.

They didn't get hurt skiing or skateboarding or some other b.s. after all. They got hurt in the collective effort to get this team where it is today.

It is at least possible that now that the media got ahold of this info the FO/whatever will revisit the issue.

The rehab schedule explanation is kind of weak, imo--
