Do they bring them all down for the photo?

Take a picture after with the Superbowl in front of the team.

Stay focused.

I could understand having the picture taken on Tuesday, since they are getting back into their practice routine on Friday and that would cramp it up a bit, but why not have the IR folks come earlier?

Tuesday is the league mandated "Media Day", so I'm assuming that, yes, the photo must be taken Tuesday.

This might sound cold-hearted, but who really cares? This seems like just another Twitter controversy to me. Let the team's management figure out what to do about it.

I'm sure the decision makers knew this was going to happen. I'm sure they've got a plan on what to do going forward.

I'm not so sure, Greg.

It really does look like a bit of a personnel and PR faux pas here.

If the IR'd players are going to be "full participants" in the "festivities" starting Thursday, they could just as easily be full participants on Tuesday when the pic is taken.

My bet is that those on IR would value inclusion in that picture highly. We have all read how frustrating it can be to those guys being on the "outside" looking in.

They didn't get hurt skiing or skateboarding or some other b.s. after all. They got hurt in the collective effort to get this team where it is today.

It is at least possible that now that the media got ahold of this info the FO/whatever will revisit the issue.

The rehab schedule explanation is kind of weak, imo--
