I'm having two computer problems & wondering if anyone could help?

1) Chat typing speed. Seems to be a 5 to 7 second delay before what I've typed even shows up so that I can even see it (before I press "enter"). This is annoying because I want to proofread before sending. Now we're talking 15 to 30 second delay & by then the topic/play has usually changed.

2) Stream volume very low. Just started suddenly this past pre-game. Other websites volume are fine (youtube, etc)

Tried using a different computer (same house/internet connection, etc.) this past game & did not have these issues so thinking it has to be something on the one computer? Only seems to affect this website, thanks if anyone has any ideas.

What browser and operating system are you using? I get the first problem you mentioned when I'm using Chrome on a Mac.

Nonstop, running Internet Explorer on Windows (7?)
Chrome is downloaded, so on the system, but not installed yet.

What version of Java do you have?
What kind of internet? DSL? Broadband?
How many processes are running and what is their CPU and Memory usage?

I'd try a different browswer as my first method of attack if other sites are working fine, or perhaps kill your cache and start over.

If you're running Internet Explorer 8 (which you probably are), make sure to hit that little green button to the right of your address bar to put your browser in compatibility mode. That should help.

Try using the chat room in Chrome or Firefox. It works well in both of those browsers on Windows.

Only run internet with about 4 windows open.

Of course, with me doing TD shots maybe it's better I don't type too much during a high-scoring game.
