James had a great day! He also had a lot of bodies blocking for him, and rightfully acknowledged his success was do in part to ALL his teammates blocking for him.

Including two FB (Johnson and Kuhn).

I used to be a bjack lover - well this was when grant was taking 90% of the runs ... but after seeing bjack this year and now seeing starks in 2 solid games; I like what I see in starks - and like you guys said the whole falling forward thing.
Seems like even if he only gets 3 yards running he gets another yard or 2 just because he drives so much forward that he falls in that general direction

And like Rourke said, James Starks is pretty fresh for an NFL player health-wise. I hope that helps the Packers.

Jackson gets the same holes he just goes for the sideline to sideline juke way to much. Starks hits the holes and falls forward, i've had enough of Jackson's 1st and 10 one yard runs. He's built to be a blitz pickup/short pass 3rd down RB.
This will definitely put some more spark into an already good play action pass game Rodgers has.
A full healthy NFL offseason and TC could work wonders for this kid. That gives us 3 NFL proven RB's and maybe most of all, moves our best FB back to his natural position with a new FB run threat.
We are born naked, wet and hungry. Then things get worse.

And how does this belabor the point that it wasn't the first time the wishbone was used by us this season? I believe I heard we used it 6-8 times so 12 or some times during the regular season.

I like this comment. First time used, first time useful. I was hoping it was successful before being used. ;)

Possible, but I think it was used against the 49ers too. I'm not sure on that. Starks had something like 83 yards in that game. Doesn't mean he got those yards from the wishbone though.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
