I'm another member of the "Used to have mancrush on Jones second only to Jermichael Finley but now want to see him walk" club.

you guys forget how good jones was earlier this season? ... he is our 3rd best WR on this team. And if you just look at the stats for this season the 2nd only behind GJ; better yards and yac then Donald Driver and nelson.

and you want to give him walking papers? ...

ya I would of really liked the score to be 21-3 at the 1/2 and felt it would of crushed the eagles ... but remember it was a cold windy day; as could be seen by how many times rodgers 'risked' throwing down field and akers missing 2 'normal' FGs ...

Hey, I didn't say I want to see him walk. That was musccy. But these drops are now having a huge effect on his value. Somebody in Kareem Copeland's chat in the Press Gazette asked if maybe he needs Lasik surgery (on his eyes). It would be great if it was that simple. It probably isn't, though.

Dulak, it would be one thing if that had been a slightly difficult catch to complete. But it hit him right in the hands. You can't excuse that on the basis that it was a cold day: They carry hand warmers in their pouches, they wear gigantic parkas on the sidelines, they have heated benches. If he's dropping passes because he's cold, he needs to start taking better care of himself.

It seems to me more a problem of focus. He's looking upfield before he completes the catch. Obviously, we don't know what the real problem is. Maybe they have YAC so heavily drilled into their heads by the coaching staff that he's too intent on turning upfield. It's impossible to know for certain.

If he drops a key pass in the Super Bowl, will you still be on his bandwagon? I'd rather have no-name, journeymen receivers who are sure handed (like the Patriots) than guys with great statistics and occasional flashy big plays who have a tendency to screw up when it really counts. (Yes, I'd rather have Jarius Wynn over Justin Harrell.)

Yeah, the game wasn't won or lost in the second quarter, we still won the game in the end, blah-blah-blah . . . but the effects of mistakes can be cumulative, the Eagles have staged at least one incredible comeback this season, and the trends are worrisome.

well my point was - IMO the dude is a top notch receiver and to send him packing to a different team is a bit drastic for that miscatch ... IMO the dude is good.

same could be said about mutiple players with yesterdays game; bush with a couple blown coverages (easy to pick on him since his name is often called when it comes to coverage); hawk seemed to not know where to go and how to tackle ... heck bjack didnt really do jack and rodgers fumbled what 2x ...

anyways looking forward to us kicking atlantas butt in the dome and being is it the first 6th seed to win a SB? or is it the second?

There may be something to the lasik surgery comment. A caller said that James Jones has dropped more than one streaking down the right sideline. I heard that and thought, does he run down the left sideline ever? lol

James Jones on the radio now. Asked about the thumb, he said the thumb played no role in his drop, said no excuses he simply dropped it.

He says no excuses, he says it was his fault, he says it can't happen, but he saying it so nonchalant like. After I say that, I'm not sure what I expect him to sound like. He sounds bummed as if we lost.

Mucky Tundra (3h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (4h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (13h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (13h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Or ties, but let's be real here

Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!

beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.

packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him
beast (18-Dec) : $100 million fully guaranteed Kirk Cousins gets benched for rookie
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : a lower case b
Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : The real lie is how beast capitalized his name in his message while it's normally spelled with
packerfanoutwest (18-Dec) : haha that's a lie
beast (17-Dec) : Despite what lies other might tell, Beast didn't hate the Winter Warnings, it felt refreshing to Beast for some reason.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
