We have this critter runnin' around called the vikesrule gnome. He's a reasonably intelligent creature but he has a tendency to run into things head-first, causing some delusions to evidence themselves. Fortunately evolution has been kind to the species, as they are armored with a protective dunce cap... Think of a wallaroo with a learning disability and you'd pretty much have it pegged.
