Had to get this off my chest.
I live as far east as possible in a city of about half a million called Halifax, where I am virtually the only die hard packer fan alive. For the past 5-10 years it's been basically impossible to have a intelligent packer conversation with anyone "offline" so I just kept to the usual NFL talks with friends or whatever.
I felt like I was shooting for some sort of MANdate everytime I would see someone in some sort of packer wear, (which is extremely rare here) doing whatever I can get spark up some sort of small talk about his hat, jersey, etc.
But now, the happiest packer fan in all of Halifax has to walk around everyday looking at a sea of packer hats and jersey trying to filter out the bandwagoners and the true fans, which seems like to me is 95% bandwagon.
I love seeing the team make all this extra revenue, especially with the CBA, but can't stand people that wear a packer jersey and ask me who Hendersen is when I wear mine.

Must be nice to know your favorite team gets to go to the superbowl every single year.

Same thing here in halifax, all the tv/radio coverage is pats this and pats that. Thats why theres so many Pats fans here, plus its the closest team. Makes me sick.

There are "bandwagon" fans everywhere.
Look at it this way.......if they are buying up Packer gear by you, that means the PACKERS are doing well on the field, and that fact should make it easy for you to look around and see people wearing OUR team's gear.
If no one was buying the stuff, that would mean the Packers were not playing well.
So.....there's room on the bandwagon from all the Favre fans and Ted Thompson haters (probably one in the same) that jumped off with their "The Packers will NEVER win a SB with Ted Thompson and MM and that lousy AR at the controls!"

Yeah but if I don't notice even the slightest memorabilia increase around a city its really easy to notice coming off a 13-3 season, then what does it take.
I know it's all for the better for the team, especially since this could be a huge year for revenue impact. But damn it bugs me being lost in a sea of fake fans that don't know shit when i've been the only diehard in sight for so many years. Like seriously how can you sleep at night when you have a packers NFC champ hat on and ask a fellow fan (me) who Hendersen is while i'm wearing his jersey.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
