if he truly made this comment, i honestly don't care.
this is nothin compared to the insanity he has made of his life.
he is more than capable of making himself an ass without our help.
rise above guys - he's a washed up bitter man.
we are STILL fans of the GREATEST team in the NFL.
who wins? :D

Fuck Brett, he can make his best bitter beer face while sitting on the couch watching the Packers play.

More focus on our upcoming game, less on this "topic".

I must say, I am surprised by this. Brett has said (why believe him?) he was over his bitterness towards the Packers. I don't know what his problem is. Many have said that Brett doesn't get over grudges easily and has an elephants memory regarding them.

I don't believe Brett is over his bitterness towards the Packers despite the comments he made after the second (I believe) game against Green Bay this year. His actions at the end of that game spoke louder than his words. Instead of kneeling to end the game like most players would do he continued to try to play and threw a pass down the field. I think even Troy Aikman referred to it as "a cheap shot." He continues to act like a bitter child.

I'm such a pinhead.

I still read these Favre threads.

Why?

I still don't see why people are getting bent out of shape because of the comment. Big fricken deal that he said go beat the Packers. What is he suppose to say "Hey let the Packers win because the fans booed me big time when I walked off the field"

Get real people

You dont see the big deal cuz your a Brett lover

Please Please tell me why I should take offense in what he said? Were you there to hear the whole conversation? He is a Viking and not a packer and hasn't been a packer for a few years now so who cares what he says. Your just a Favre hater and wait to pounce on anything about him. But yet you call me a favre lover and your the one that is on his site.

Like I said big deal if he said go out and beat the Packers. So he still has it out for TT, I probably would to if I was tossed out of a place I loved.

Is it that hard to understand? Or maybe lack of oxygen is damaging your brain, you know suffocating from the tea bagging from Bretts

Well played, German. He was allowed to leave after years of holding this team hostage with his media-whore desires. I long ago lost any respect I had for the guy, and personally, this most recent action does not suprise me at all as he cares about nobody more than himself.

But, I wonder what his "friends" like Donald Driver (class act all the way) and others think of his bullshit.

Like I said, I get it.....he has an ongoing tantrum with Ted Thompson and MM....but to throw his former teammates this curveball because of it is sad and pathetic.

I just don't see the logic in this latest Favre bash. One, no one even knows what was said, the context, or whatever. Second, why do fans expect Favre to have this weird loyalty to the Packers when a lot of the same fans would boo him or did boo him. He's held to the higher standard because he's a public figure? What? I just feel people blow this stuff out of proportion. If he's "bitter", what are Packers fans?

Plus should Lakers fans hate Shaq because he always cheers against the Lakers because of his dislike for Kobe?

I just am always surprised at how "surprised" people are at Favre's actions. "Oh my god, he's possible of lying". "Oh my god, he has the ability to commit adultery", etc. "Oh my god, he's still bitter". Of course he's probably still bitter, Packers fans boo'd him as he limped off Lambeau for the last time! Of COURSE he doesn't want the Packers to win the SB, he hates TT.

If you take his dislike of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy as some kind of personal attack on you as a Packer fan, I don't know what to tell you. He's human, you would feel the same way, just as you wouldn't want him to win a SB with the Vikings.

It's your every right to get riled up whenever Favre says something but once again I think everyone would be a lot happier if you just ignored him if you don't like him.
