I just don't see the logic in this latest Favre bash. One, no one even knows what was said, the context, or whatever. Second, why do fans expect Favre to have this weird loyalty to the Packers when a lot of the same fans would boo him or did boo him. He's held to the higher standard because he's a public figure? What? I just feel people blow this stuff out of proportion. If he's "bitter", what are Packers fans?
Plus should Lakers fans hate Shaq because he always cheers against the Lakers because of his dislike for Kobe?
I just am always surprised at how "surprised" people are at Favre's actions. "Oh my god, he's possible of lying". "Oh my god, he has the ability to commit adultery", etc. "Oh my god, he's still bitter". Of course he's probably still bitter, Packers fans boo'd him as he limped off Lambeau for the last time! Of COURSE he doesn't want the Packers to win the SB, he hates TT.
If you take his dislike of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy as some kind of personal attack on you as a Packer fan, I don't know what to tell you. He's human, you would feel the same way, just as you wouldn't want him to win a SB with the Vikings.
It's your every right to get riled up whenever Favre says something but once again I think everyone would be a lot happier if you just ignored him if you don't like him.
