what about the other 5 years of poor special teams play....is that to be blamed on injuries also?
i do not feel it is injuries, it is lack of talent added to the team through the draft over the last 6 years.

Do you really think it is talent or the special teams coaching itself?
I believe the later as I seen an injury filled team go toe to tow with the best record in the league and take them to the final seconds before the game was decided. And they did it twice in the matter of weeks.
Injuries filter down to the special teams, but IMO the problem goes past that is it has been a repeat issue year in and out. Much like the offensive line.
Mike McCarthy owns that.. it is his duty to correct that via the staff the coaches those positions.
If Mike McCarthy has a failing, it may be his inability to correct issues upon his staff quick enough.
But even there, he has made the move when he felt he exhausted other options, see the rebuilding of the defensive staff.
MM, Ted and company have some things to clean up yet, but dismissing either would be a error at this point.
However I will be disappointed if Campen is still controlling the line and if they can't get a handle on the special teams this off season. Again, much like the defensive rebuild 2 seasons ago.
