Does anybody remember what Aaron Rodgers did when, like Flynn, he had to come off the bench late in his third season? That was the game in Dallas. He was fantastic in that game, and it was apparent that his skills were about on par with Favre's.

That was not the case with Flynn against the Lions. The discrepancy is not surprising, considering the Rodgers was a first round pick and Flynn was a seventh round pick. But Rodgers proved that it is possible for a third year QB with almost no regular season experience to come off the bench and make an impact. Maybe Flynn can get it done if he gets another chance. It's looking like we may find out on Sunday.

Without Rodgers the Packers are better than Detroit. We still have Jennings, Driver, Jones, Nelson, Quarless, Swain. These guys can make plays. Without Rodgers, McCarthy was forced to call a simpler plan. Had he done that the entire game, It wouldn't have been a game.

lets really look at this:

Jennings = Johnson
Driver = Burleson
Jones = Best
Nelson < Logan
Quarless < Pettigrew
Swain = waterboy lol

I don't know you come up with your ideas.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Burleson does not = Driver. I know Driver has been down this year, but Burleson hasn't done anything since he left Minnesota.

From a team standpoint, Johnson would be Detroit's Jermichael Finley. He is a more talented player than Jennings. I know it's not popular here, but I think Johnson is better than Jennings.

Based on the rosters, Green Bay is stronger when they're healthy. There is no doubt about it, but the injuries this team has endured has forced the Packers to be perfect in almost every possession.

You can only endure so much. So yeah, Detroit is better than Green Bay, when you take away Rodgers, Grant, Finley, Burnett, Barnett, and Jenkins.

Thank you, Dhazer is so full of BS.

Johnson > Jennings.
Burleson < Driver
Johnson 2 < Jones

Why you even compare a RB to a WR is beyond me. We don't have anyone to compare to Best. He's a weapon. Just like Logan. Best is average as a pure rusher, though.

Logan hasn't caught a pass this year, so again, how do you compare him to a conventional WR like Nelson?

Without Rodgers....and Finley, and Grant, and Tauscher, and Barnett, and Chillar, and Jenkins, and so on, and so on.

Look...ugly game we should have won, but failed to show up and play. But to say that is a bit of a reach. I would simply beg the question, why didn't this team show up for such an important game? MM took responsibility. But after a week of good practice, the players still have to pull their weight in this thing...and they failed!

Our Dline couldn't have been that bad. We gave up 7 points. That was the Lions lowest output all year and it was at home. Your Dline has to be winning most of the time for that to happen.

If you break down their run game Morris, Best, and, Felton gained 103 yds on 30 carries and Stanton, Logan, and Johnson gained 87 yrds on 10 carries and those were yds made on the outside on designed runs that our LB'rs and CB's should have been coming up and stopping.

The longest run by a RB was eight yds and they only averaged 3.4 for the day. I'll take that and cosider it a good days work by the Dline. Our LB's and Corners did not win on the run plays by Stanton and the WR's and both Mathews and Zombo have a tendency to get sucked inside on reverses allowing the runner to make the corner.

I thought it was rather gutsy running Stanton on designed runs considering he's their #3 QB but that's what happens when a team only has two wins I guess.
