I don't see how anyone could possibly hate Starks. He played very good for his 1st game in 2 years.

I do believe he will be better than Jackson. It would be unfair to say that he is better than Grant, a two time 1200 yard back in 2 full years as a starter.

I say quit the bitchin and be happy we can have this argument.

I've yet to see anyone "hating" Starks. The only REAL hating that's gone on has been Jarrett Bush and 2008 Aaron Rodgers.

It isn't hating for someone to not be confident that Starks is the best RB on the team after he's played in 1 game. Yeah, he looked the part but let him play some games before you call people haters.

"Hasn't played in two years, hasn't played in two years, first game in two years, bla bla bla." How long's it been since Grant played?

Saying he hadn't played in nearly two years is not hating, it's a fact.
Saying his first game in two years was last Sunday is not hating, it's a fact.

Grant hasn't played since September 12th of this year. Suppose since I said that, I'm hating on Grant now huh?

You put that in quotations as if somebody said that, verbatim. That's libel, my friend. 🙂

And nerdman, you are honestly saying he is already better than Grant?

I agree with go.pack.go. We can make the assumption after one game that he is better than BJack because the coaches had the opportunity to play them both, and they gave Starks 4x more carries than BJack. But saying that he is better than Grant when he has played one game and that is the only thing we can use to compare them (don't know coaches opinions btw. the two)? I'd say that's taking a pretty big step. You could be right in the long run, but right now there is nowhere near enough evidence to support what you are saying.

1: Grant isn't much good right now at all, is he?
2: Starks is faster, quicker, has vision, can cut, can catch the ball. Can make people miss.

Great point. Starks is better than Grant right now since Grant is on IR and can't touch the field. In that case, Jordy Nelson is better than Jerry Rice because Rice is retired.

Obviously we are talking about these guys if they were in condition to play, nerdmann.

There is no way we can say, after 1 game, that James Starks is better than Ryan Grant, given Grant is healthy.
