seriously think i watched a different game. i thought we played a tough team pretty darn well. we were evenly matched & it came down to who had the ball at the end of the game.

I thought we played well, although thought we could have played a lot smarter on certain plays. I don't like watching the replay of the game because I get nitpicky, I feel. It's so easy to be a genius in hindsight.

The only thing that sticks to me right now is the two attempts at QB sneak on the goal line. I think we should be doing rollouts instead.

I'm not hurt we lost this game because it was to a good team and we got some good tape on them if we are fortunate and make it in the playoffs.

First one was audibled into by Aaron. Second, McCarthy called. This is according to McCarthy from his post-game PC.

I can understanding wanting to put the ball in the hands of your stud playmaking QB, but the second time was downright stupid.

I think both were stupid. I don't much like QB sneaks against a defense we can't run effectively against.

I'd prefer rollouts with options for him to pass or run it.

The problem with those plays on the goal line is that we cannot just punch it in. Lombardi would call a sweep. Everyone in America would know what was coming, but no one could stop it. Not so with this team.

good game, we played with an even hand to one of, if not THE best team in the NFC.

sadly, season records dont care for that information, what happened is that we lost to another NFC team, which IMO hurts most.

the early season gaffs we had are getting to look a little more critical with Chicago on its lucky-ass fluke season.

Bears gotta string some losses together, and we gotta keep winning.

winning the North is all that matters.

Mucky Tundra (9h) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (10h) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (10h) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (10h) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (13h) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
