Yep, it confused me for a couple of weeks too, then I thought back to the pundits' power rankings, and they do the same thing, so it became clear to me. (Plus I could compare this week's rankings with last week's to see the pattern.)

I tend to save my whining for the Random Babble and Back Alley sections, where you can yell at me without any repercussions. 😉

Yeah I noticed you stepped up a notch on the medal issue. That was as I close as I have ever come to using the ignore button. Then I realized I enjoy your Packer insight too much to let it bother me.

There are a couple of issues I'm inordinately passionate about. Airline security and the military are two of them -- for intertwined reasons. Like Wade and zombieslayer, I'm a crusty, incorrigible libertarian who will speak out for my philosophical ideals in the face of all practical realities. That doesn't mean I ignore the human element though. I remember the daily terror I experienced scanning the pages of Stars and Stripes to see if my brother had been killed at Fallujah. I never want to go through that again, nor would I wish it on anyone -- no matter how much I disagreed with their beliefs.

Cal Cheez,
I am sure you have explained it in the past, perhaps even to me. What is the number after the team name represent?

Division Leaders
1) Falcons (1) - Greater Winning % (.800) than Saints (.700) and Eagles (.700)
2) Eagles (7) - Greater Conference Winning % (.714) than Bears (.625)
3) Bears (3) - Greater Winning % (.700) than Seahawks (.500)
4) Seahawks (4) -

Bah. Just win out. We'll knock off every team in our way - Falcons, Giants, and da Bears. I don't take the Bucs seriously, by the way. You just can't convince me they're a good team.

I know the feeling all too well. My phone call came at 3:17 AM. My son's first words were, "First of all Dad, I am alright."
I just laugh at these car ads that boast 0-60 in so many seconds. No one can go from sound alseep to wide awake faster than I did that morning.

you know if we keep this up Zero is going to cut this part out of the thread and create a whole new one. :thumbleft:

[quote="Greg C."]I only include Strength of Schedule for teams already played.

You should consider including strength of schedule for all opponents that are going to be faced during the season. Why disregard data that ultimately will be used anyway?

I don't mean to be critical. I appreciate your work in putting this together every week, and this is a pretty minor point.
