Looking at the schedule as a Packers fan I want:

Cowboys to beat the Saints on Thanksgiving.
Packers to Beat Falcons
Bears to lose at home to the Eagles
Ravens to beat Buccaneers

Here are the current draft positions:

1 Panthers
2 Lions
3 Bengals
4 Bills
5 Cowboys
6 49'er's
7 Cardinals
8 Broncos
9 viklings
10 Browns
11 Rams
12 Texans
13 Raiders
14 Chargers
15 Titans
16 Redskins
17 Dolphins
18 Giants
19 Colts
20 Buccaneers

I noticed that our strength of schedule rating improved over the weekend because teams the Packers played went 5-1. (I'm throwing out the games that included two teams the Packers played.) That was able to make me feel okay about the Jets and Patriots winning, even though I wasn't sticking up for either of them.

I only include Strength of Schedule for teams already played.
It is good for the Patriots to go high before the Packers beat them to help the SOS (hopefully the SOV too).

The only teams those numbers may matter with are the Saints and the Buccaneers. Playing the Falcons and NFC East will best determine the Packers chances along with that all important showdown with the Bears.

AHHHHH. I knew I had know the answer. For several weeks I have been trying to figure it out and couldn't come up with anything. Funny if I would have seen it on the college poll I would have know. :face1:

Yep, it confused me for a couple of weeks too, then I thought back to the pundits' power rankings, and they do the same thing, so it became clear to me. (Plus I could compare this week's rankings with last week's to see the pattern.)

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
