Vick's getting a second chance. A chance to let his past behind him. A chance that more ex-convicts should get, but aren't getting.

Most ex-convicts don't have legal talents that can make them millions when they're released from prison, poverty breeds desperation breeds crime. If Vick were the same man minus football skills and had been working at a fast food joint, is there doubt in your mind that he'd be working just as hard to focus on and excel at his job?
I don't mean this as a dig on Vick, I really don't. I'm just trying to illustrate that him having very attractive options the moment he steps out of prison may help him on the straight and narrow, and that other convicts don't have anywhere to turn to... So they turn back to crime.
