i really don't know how to respond to you zombie. i didn't realize we were talking about 'responsible sex' vs 'irresponsible sex'. i thought we were simply discussing teen sex in general. i never said at any time that i had 'irresponsible' sex as a teen - just that i had 'sex' as a teen. for you to even suggest that your parents were somehow 'better' than mine when we were talking about two different things made me chuckle. that was quite an audacious remark to make but hey - it's your opinion & you're entitled to it - as am i.

i stated one small portion of the whole 'sex talk' deal & you assumed that's all they talked with me about - sheesh.

telling someone their parents didn't do a good job when they know VERY little about that person, their life, or their parents - seriously? wow.

but hey if it makes you feel 'better' then i guess it's worth it.

It wasn't a bracket, it was within the statutes. It went from a Class B Felony to 4th Degree Misdemeanor because of it, thankfully.

call it what you want - it was me being the stubborn, sexual, little shit i was (& still am) - no amount of good parenting could have changed that. and again, you don't know anything about my parents - they were teens in the 50's - THE 50's for cripes sake. they blushed when they walked in my bedroom door just broaching the subject!! lol.

edit: and pardon me for accepting responsibility for what i've done in my life. i forgot - it's everybody else's fault now. 😉

Well I'm going to teach my daughters to wait to have sex with someone they truly believe is special, and to stay away from guys like me. I'm not naive to think they won't have sex in their teens but they will be taught safe sex and probably be put on the pill when they are 14 or 15. My oldest is nine and she is already starting to develop in the ta-ta region. You guys think I'm an asshole now, wait til I have a bunch of little shitasses sniffing around by daughters. Nonstop said God was stupid earlier today, God's not stupid, he is a vindictive bastard punishing me for my fornicating ways. For all of you with a smile on your face, FU. :)

And if I got to live those years over, I would have more sex than I did. My father preached morality all the time, and he was culturally repressed.

Sex ed came easy. I had friends who got treated for STDs. I had them talk to my son. They scared the **** out of him. I introduced him to Planned Parenthood as condoms are 25c each there and they instructed him how to use them properly. I also told him that if he really wants to avoid pregnancy, make sure she's on the pill AND use condoms. Doubling up contraceptives is the way to go. We're very open about sex and drugs. I already know he's had sex and know he's never done drugs which to me is weird. A teenager not wanting to try illegal drugs? Huh?

Would I be this open if I had a daughter? Hell yes! I'd fully expect her to be a slut because I'm a slut. I just wouldn't want her to be pregnant or get STDs and especially, I wouldn't want her fucking losers. Only the best for my daughter. Am I weird? You betcha.
