djcubez, thank you.

This probably isn't the thread for this question, but do we have a position by position, play by player count of his drafts?

QB - Aaron Rodgers
QB - Matt Flynn
QB - Brian Brohm

etc ...

I inquire because it'd be neat to see how many at what position have a higher success rate. I think Rockmolder may have something like this?

Yes, Rockmolder has it up until the 2013 draft.

Thanks alot and here I was hoping we would win the Super Bowl sometime soon, now you have me thinking we will be drafting in the top 5 the next few years.

I feel the doom now, Hopefully we have a lock out next year so we don't have to suffer thru a 4-14 season.

Don't blame that on me... you've always been a drama pessimistic with your head in the toilet... hell I'm not sure if you want the Packers to win or just be able to whine when they lose...

The Seahawks got into the playoffs with Thompson there... even went to the Super Bowl with Thompson roster still mostly there... and I think the Steelers were the better team but we'll never truly know as the Refs got way to involved and the Steelers got all of the calls there way... I felt bad... it didn't seem like a fair called game to me...

The number at the end is the round they were taken at.

After spending the time doing this I noticed one thing. For years we've been giving Ted Thompson shit for not getting a good offensive line together. In his drafts he's spent the most picks at the following positions:

12 - Offensive Lineman
10 - Defensive Backs
8 - Wide Receivers
8 - Defensive Lineman

Yet the average round we take an OL at is the 4th round.

And here's some notable names that are not a part of TT's draft:

Present before TT: Al Harris, Mark Tauscher, Scott Wells, Chad Clifton, Cullen Jenkins
Acquired by Ted Thompson through trade/fa: Charles Woodson, Ryan Grant, Ryan Pickett, Brandon Chillar
UDFA's: Tramon Williams
Unsure: Donald Lee (Got him '05, TT's first season but I don't know if it technically was his signing)

Mike McCarthy was requesting the "smaller, quicker" guys the first few years. Since he picked Sitton, ("bigger, stronger") he's done much better. That's on MM, not TT.

2 54 Maurice Morris RB Oregon (2002)
3 82 Heath Evans RB Auburn (2001)
1 19 Shaun Alexander RB Alabama (2000)

I don't think that list is accurate because it doesn't list Wynn. He was a 7th round draft choice.

Anyone got a real list or we gonna bitch back and forth about whether Ted drafted in Seattle or not?

Sorry Zero I missed him he is on the list. I was at work when I got the list.

7 228 DeShawn Wynn RB Florida

I've said this hundreds of times. OL should be big fat and nasty men who punish the DL. Period.
