Hopefully there are no injuries this week.

Harris ought to be better than Underwood, Shields or Lee. I think Underwood draws the short straw and goes on IR.

OG Newhouse might be an IR candidate. Maybe Nick McDonald can be sent to the practice squad.

I also think one of the new LB's will prove unworthy and get cut.

A lot of tough choices.

I still want Harris back (assuming he's healthy). He will come back demoted to the #3 CB but as a #3 CB, he'll be an upgrade over what we have. We could use Bigby for depth at S.

This is of course assuming they're healthy.

Hopefully Harris can still play. That will let him take an outside guy and put Woodson back in his CB/S/LB position.

I think that is selling the job Shields has been doing at the nickel back short.. kid rarely gets exposed.. and he is supposedly raw as a porterhouse seared on the flame for a 30 seconds per side.

All I know, if Harris is healthy, Woodson can go back to being utilized like the player the made him a DPOY candidate.. they can move him all over the damn place.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Pack93z, but don't we still move Woody all over the place? Yes, not as much as '09 but it seems to me that we still do.

I agree in two receiver sets, but not so much in three + receiver sets.. with Harris back.. you can put Williams, Harris and Shields in press/man and leave Woodson free to play free.

More or less what I am saying is it allows us to reduce the snaps that Woodson is manned up and let his instincts serve us more like 09 than 10'.

I don't know why we get so hung up on calling #1,2,3 corners and SS, FS. They are all DB's who get assignments. Reducing fuckups and making each other assignment sound is a successful secondary.

With that said, Charlie Peprah has played balls out for us, and I am pleasantly surprised by this development.

I want Woodson free lancing, because he sure has been drawing the flags this year. He is doing the dirty work Butler use to do for us.

I am still not counting on much from Al, but I am rooting for him.

If they do, that's another credit to Shields. The kid's been damn good, and he's got a lot more speed on tap than Al does.

I love Al, and I hope he gets activated, but Shields has been awesome for a raw rookie @ nickle.
