The offense did fizzle a bit in the fourth quarter, but they fought hard. It was a total team effort for four quarters.

They weren't as crisp, and it did take a fortunate 4th down conversion by Kuhn to get to this...but that Greg Jennings catch should have been a 1st down IMO, which would have extended the drive another 1-2 minutes, at least, or depleted the Vikes' timeouts.

I don't think that the offense choked in the first period. They we're driving down and wasting as much as time they can. Yes they we're trying to score but the main objective was to run out as much as clock they can. If Kuhn had gotten the first down, the offense would of walked away with a TD or at least a FG.

Props on the defense, they showed up against an excellent defense reading QB.

There were a lot of missed penalties too, though. I can't remember exact plays, I just know that I had to turn my head every once in awhile to it, and I think the ref's might as well have. The Vikings also had missed penalties called, a lot of holding, specifically. It all turned out fair though, which is the only upside of shitty refs.

My only problem with the fake field foal is they took forever to get it off. If you're going to make a surprise play, you have to take advantage of the element of surprise. They telegraphed that play. Still, they came so close.

Oh, to the original poster, yes, James Jones looked great. Best of all - our OL. Our OL looked spectacular yesterday against a very good DL no less.
