For the second season in a row, I'm officially declaring MM to be on the hot seat. His teams consistently underperform, and he seems to always find a way to .500 at midseason, no matter how much talent he has.
If Favre pulls his pants down next week, he should be fired even though it's in the middle of the season.
Capers has never won it all as a HC, but he's come close. He's also never had Ted Thompson feeding him players. We've had alot of injuries, but that's not why this team has consistently failed all season long. They are fundamentally unsound when it comes to offensive philosophy, penalties, and special teams. It can't go on forever.

This loss is not on coaching. I'm getting sick and fucking tired of hearing the same damn thing from fans here complaining about McCarthy.

Hard to be on the hot seat when he is losing with some very key starters injured.

If anyone has not shifted expectations in light of injuries, then it is no one elses fault but your own for buying into the hype.

MM says this is a WCO team. Since when is WCO about throwing deep 4 out of 5 plays? Especially when your QB is getting drilled repeatedly and it's apparently legal for other teams to spear him on the chin?
A little fundamentals would go a long way. Not to mention James Campen totally sucking shit as OL Coach and, well, special teams generally.

Yes, because McCarthy is instructing Rodgers to target the deep route after he gives him the play. :roll

Rodgers has regressed. There is reason to question his progressions, because his fundamentals as a whole are not good.

If Favre pulls his pants down next week...

Huh?

Oh, you mean if Favre pulls McCARTHY'S pants down. I thought you meant his own pants. Now THAT would be interesting....

Anyway, McCarthy is not on the hot seat. His team was outmanned. Plus, the fourth-and-goal play at the end of regulation was brilliant. I've never seen that one before. Too bad it was wasted in a losing cause.

The bottom line: No pass rush=lose. No pass protection=double lose. The Packers just didn't have the horses today. And if they don't get some players back from injury soon, their season will go down the toilet, regardless of what McCarthy does.
