If Favre pulls his pants down next week...

Huh?

Oh, you mean if Favre pulls McCARTHY'S pants down. I thought you meant his own pants. Now THAT would be interesting....

Anyway, McCarthy is not on the hot seat. His team was outmanned. Plus, the fourth-and-goal play at the end of regulation was brilliant. I've never seen that one before. Too bad it was wasted in a losing cause.

The bottom line: No pass rush=lose. No pass protection=double lose. The Packers just didn't have the horses today. And if they don't get some players back from injury soon, their season will go down the toilet, regardless of what McCarthy does.

I do agree with that. The QB sneak was brilliant, and I'll give credit, but to who? Who called that play?

This loss is not on coaching. I'm getting sick and fucking tired of hearing the same damn thing from fans here complaining about McCarthy.

You sir, are living in a river in Egypt. This was plainly a coaching loss, as was last week. Wake up. And get McCarthy out of your mouth.

You keep saying the same things. "This is clearly a coaching loss.". You never back up your opinion.

So when you actually learn what you're trying to say, then talk to me. Dumbass. Get Favre out of your mouth.

Mike McCarthy says this is a WCO team. Since when is WCO about throwing deep 4 out of 5 plays? Especially when your QB is getting drilled repeatedly and it's apparently legal for other teams to spear him on the chin?
A little fundamentals would go a long way. Not to mention James Campen totally sucking shit as OL Coach and, well, special teams generally.

Some people just cant make up their mind...you'd be complaining that he is too conservative if he didnt call some of those deep passes.

And it's not like he's demanding Rodgers to throw it deep every play. Some of that is on the QB

If you watched the game, you would see that our great WR's arn't getting open. Not like in the past, at least.
And Aaron Rodgers doesn't have time to let a guy GET open, as he's constantly running for his life.
The nice thing is that the Bears lost too, and we are still just a game behind them for the division lead.
8-8 might win the division this year.

Cheesey brings up a good point -- this hole isn't insurmountable. Green Bay has plenty of time to make it up, and hopefully they will. A team like Minnesota, on the other hand, could be in a lot of trouble if they keep losing -- they could be 1-4 after today.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

I agree with your entire post, but this point is especially interesting to me. There were several times in this game when the protection was good enough, or Rodgers was able to buy some time with his legs, and he still couldn't find an open receiver. I don't know why they seem to be having so much more trouble getting open this year.

It is just my opinion. Which means I don't have to back it up. That's what opinion's are for. So if you don't agree, whatever. Fuck off.

If you want to defend McCarthy after the last six weeks, again, fuck off. You're stupid.

And for the tard that dissed my grandfather? He'll be waiting for you someday. Lol! Best get you chin ready.....

They could end in a tie, but I think they could more likely be 1 - 5 than 1 - 4 - 1 today.

Mucky Tundra (now) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (21m) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (1h) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (1h) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (2h) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (2h) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (2h) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (2h) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (2h) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (2h) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (2h) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (2h) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (2h) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (2h) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (2h) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (2h) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (2h) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (2h) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (2h) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (2h) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (3h) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (3h) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (3h) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (3h) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (3h) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (3h) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (3h) : Packers will get in
beast (3h) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (3h) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (3h) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (5h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (6h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (6h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (6h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (7h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (16h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (16h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (16h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (20h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (20h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
