Yeah, Driver cost us the game, dropping the ball twice...

Woodson is overly aggressive this year, most likely, because of the lack of talent in the secondary. (Hopefully...)

However, Rodgers is playing like a choking dog so far this year. Driver and Jennings are both getting open.

Outside of Mathews, not many looked like they really wanted to play today. Driver was not in the game....where was Jennings?....Woodson compensates for age by getting careless....and Rogers is starting to look like old #4; he's going to win a game for you or lose two or three he shouldn't.

Other than that, I'm having a DQ chocolate malt and the world is fine.

We stink. Unless the team kicks it's own self in the ass, we can kiss even the THOUGHT of the playoffs goodbye.
There is NO way we should have lost today. The Foreskins suck. We just found a way to suck even worse then they do.
Again, playing down to the opponents level.
Won't win many more games this way.
Pad level sucked, too.
(HAD to throw that in there!)

They always get their shit together around week 10. Pretty sick of starting out seasons and games ugly though.

I'll send you what I got left, Cheesey. It's a large, so should be a few sips left. It might be kinda runny and warm, and oh, don't worry about the bronchial pneumonia I've got. By the time it gets to Wisconsin the germs should have dropped off somewhere in Minnysoda.

He is implying that the drops were far more indicative of failed execution costing us points, as opposed to McCarthy's stupid play calls not getting us points.

He has a point, and while I have defended McCarthy quite a bit, I think there were some questionable decisions today.

However, to lay this loss at the feet of McCarthy is wrong. If our players could execute a bit more, we would have won this game. The saying goes that coaches coach (put players in position to make plays) and the players play (make something of being put into position to make plays).

Well, I think right now it's clear that the players are failing to play (execute) much more so than being put in shitty situations by their coaches.

defense falling apart at the end of the game

(these are basically the trends over mccarthy's tenure that never get fixed, not just the last 5 games)

"Chutzpah515" wrote:

The last one is because McCarthy's offense goes 3 and out the entire second half.

Mike McCarthy needs to go. Like you said, these problems reoccur every year.

Do you hold the players accountable at all? My God, you've written the script and mailed it in. Too bad there's no plot development.

dfosterf (1h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (2h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (2h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (2h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (2h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (2h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (2h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (2h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (2h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (2h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (3h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (3h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (3h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (5h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (5h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (5h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (20h) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife

Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
