I said, I find myself wondering if there could be a connection, even though I know that isn't the case. It is hard to believe the number of injuries they have had this year.

Even then, it's pretty hard to establish a connection between Mike McCarthy and the injuries; that your mind went there first shows, to some degree, your strong discontent with Mike McCarthy I think.

You have the strength and conditioning coach, you the the equipment guys... all these things should "connect" with injuries, if anything.
Mike McCarthy has always given his veterans days off, and even in Training Camp those that were coming off surgeries or serious injuries were held out of the 2nd practice in 2-a-days.

Maybe the players, realizing the team is getting devastated by losing so many starters are trying to tough it out through games. And, unfortunately, they are reaggrevating those injuries.

Even in some fantasy land, just pondering a connection between injuries and the head coach is grasping at straws.

I know all this to be true, but the thought is still lingering in the back of my mind, nevertheless. All these injuries by week 5 are very strange. Besides I would love to back off something else on McCarthy.

I agree with Rodgers. I also don't trust him in the two minute drill or overtime. Then again, I don't trust anyone else on this team in those situations either.

You agree with Rodgers?

Perhaps I agree with him regarding Rodgers would have been a better choice of words. :thumbright:

Yeah, Driver cost us the game, dropping the ball twice...

Woodson is overly aggressive this year, most likely, because of the lack of talent in the secondary. (Hopefully...)

However, Rodgers is playing like a choking dog so far this year. Driver and Jennings are both getting open.

"Chutzpah515" wrote:

Donald Driver was 4 drops one that would put them inside the 20 with a 1st down, but instead Crosby missed FG.....That same play ball hit Driver in the hands

I swear sometimes people dont watch same game

"longtimefan" wrote:

Are you really suggesting those drops caused the loss? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard! :onfloor:

"Chutzpah515" wrote:

No what I am saying is DD had 4 drops you said 2

You said Rodgers isnt hitting them when open, I said DD had a ball in HIS HANDS and he dropped it then Crosby missed the FG...

on their 29 yard line, 3rd down DD drops it... 4th down Crosby missed it

So you were wrong on two accounts, # of drops and Rodgers cant hit open WR

I was not implying the drop caused the game..

I am PROVING you were wrong in your analysis

Again I swear some people dont truly " watch the games" just look at the game

I said he doesn't SEE Jennings when he is wide open sometimes. Donald Driver was awful today, however to place blame for the loss on his performance is absurd. I realize now that is not what you were doing.

I am getting sardonic pleasure out of observing some of the same people who last year were scoffing that Rodgers wasn't taking enough chances -- wasn't trying to wing it into tight spots -- now criticizing him for throwing too many interceptions.

You can't have it both ways, people.

Please give me back the Rodgers who takes care of the ball. We win more games with him.

People would, once we lose a game, go directly to criticizing McCarthy for being too conservative and Aaron for not taking risks.

Like you said, they somehow want it both ways.

Trend, Rodgers only sacked 9 times in 5 games this year. That's good, right?

At the rate our Tackles are playing, I would not be surprised to read he gets sacked 9 times in one of the remaining games.

How's this for a disturbing trend: early in the second half, Aaron Rodgers had 7 straight incompletions.
