He has a point, and while I have defended McCarthy quite a bit, I think there were some questionable decisions today.
However, to lay this loss at the feet of McCarthy is wrong. If our players could execute a bit more, we would have won this game. The saying goes that coaches coach (put players in position to make plays) and the players play (make something of being put into position to make plays).
Well, I think right now it's clear that the players are failing to play (execute) much more so than being put in shitty situations by their coaches.
