Two weeks? That's highly optimistic. I highly doubt the Packers will bring either of them before the full three-week cushion. I think it would be foolish to rush them back that fast, especially since that would mean they'd have had essentially no practice time whatsoever. Even if the Packers wait the full three weeks before putting them on the field, I don't expect much of anything out of either of them this year. It bothers me that people are so optimistic about the situation, because I think we're going to see a ton of bitching on this board when they don't perform to people's unrealistic expectations.

Hey im trying to think good thoughts on the pup guys and more importantly the packers.Ik its not realistic for them to be good coming back but hey im not going to have bad thoughts on how we will do or if the guys will return.Never count people out either they were both looking close to returning at the beginning of the season.Im going to be positive and I think they come back on a good note and help the team.Plus i think they are working out its not like they are doing nothing while they are away.Only time will tell what happens you could be right or they could return faster than you think.

Martin...is not close to a starting caliber safety.

What ridiculous rationalization that is... "Better than nothing." smh

I'm not crazy about having to use a Peprah/Martin combo for that safety spot for a couple games.

Are PUP players eligible week 6? Or week 7?

7. they then have 3 weeks where they can finally practice with the team before a decision has to be made whether or not to activate them.

Ah. So they dont actually count against the roster until activated. It's not just changed right away. Good to know.

Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.

dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
