And just think . . . with the new 18 game season coming down the pike, along with the reduction in preseason games, we're going to have at least a full month of sucky football before the good games begin. Wayne Larrivee was saying today on his Badger Mutual Insurance Sports Minute that it's normal for NFL teams to take at least three to four weeks to get into the swing of things, because no one hits or tackles in the offseason and no one plays much in the preseason. Imagine how bad it's going to be when the preseason is halved -- and rosters are expanded to boot!
More players with fewer reps to go around = a lot of really bad early season football.
