The Packers seemed pretty good at getting almost 400 yards in offense without even pretending to run, and the only thing that slowed the Packers offense down were penalties. What game were you watching? They also did a pretty good job of controlling the clock, thank you very much.

I won't address the whole "needing a RB to win the SB" bull as it's already been addressed multiple times.



Funny, we've done all these things at times exclusively through the air. And by "at times", I mean multiple games in a row. Tell me, without half of those penalties out there today and that late fumble, the score could have been 28-17 (28-10 without the punt return) and suddenly the offense would be completely dominating. Gee, if the offense/team's inability to dominate seems reliant on things NOT RELATED TO THE RUNNING GAME AT ALL, it would seem to imply that while having a dominant running game can do all of the above, so can a dominant passing game.

Packers so far have almost double the amount of rushing yards against Chicago as any other team this year.

Silence! You can have 600 passing yards, score 90 points a game, have a defense that never allows more than 100 yards and a solid special teams. But if you don't have a RB that can get more than 3YPC, you'll never make the playoffs, much less win the superbowl.
