1. How many Packer fans would trade Rodgers for Cutler straight up?
2. How many Bear fans would trade Cutler for Rodgers straight up?

3. How many NFL coaches would trade Rodgers for Cutler straight up?
4. How many NFL coaches would trade Cutler for Rodgers straight up?

1. Virtually none.
2. Virtually all.

3. Few.
4. Many many.

I didn't read the article. The headline is just too silly.

that headline really pissed me off. Cutler better than Rodgers? How quickly do we forget last season? As of now there is no comparison who the better quarterback is in wins, stats, and looks.

HAHA, plus one for that man. That's what I was trying to say with my earlier post. I don't see how this article is trying to belittle Rodger's or Cutler in any way. The only thing the author said is that Cutler has the edge in arm strength, which he very well might. Arm strength doesn't automatically mean a better QB by ANY means. It's just an attribute.

I'm sorry gopackers, but your putting too much thought into nothing, IMO. I thought the article was perfectly fair, and your title to this thread is purely your interpretation. Nothing wrong with that, but at least make it clearer that it is your opinion so that more people might actually read the article.

Cutler is a good QB when all is going well and he is getting plenty of time. What separates Rodgers from him and most QB's is that Rodgers will carry the team even when he is getting killed out there and there just isn't many QB's in that catagory.

If both teams tonight put about an equal amount of pressure on the opposing QB's Green Bay wins because Rodgers can handle it. Cutler can't.

2 games are all that matters to judge a player! Don't you know that? CM3, therefore, is light years better than Ware or any other outside rusher.

Currently, I'd only put McNabb in that category. Of the other elites, they require somewhat of an OL.

Past ones I've watched that could pull this off were Steve Young, Elway, Favre (not today's Favre), etc.

Meh.
Too early in their careers to draw any definitive comparisons.
Wake me up after they have both started for 6 years.

Look, Cutler has a stronger arm than Rodgers period. There is no debate. But Jamarcus Russell has a stronger arm than Rodgers too. So does Matthew Stafford. That doesn't mean much like DH says.

As far as young QBs go, Rodgers and Rivers are the top two. Personally, I really like Matt Ryan. I think he'll be great and I've said that here before. But the point is to say that Rodgers is there now. Cutler has potential as well, but the biggest problem with him is consistency. Fair or not, Cutler is very much like Brett Favre was in 92-94. We'll see whether he can develop like Favre did, but there are similarities there.

The biggest thing Cutler needs to show is patience. He doesn't need to create everything with his arm. If it's not there, dump it off. Thus far, he's done that this season. Last year, he did not.
