I still don't understand how this is a problem. That means, teams will still be fighting it out til week 17. How is this bad?

The lottery is a weighted lottery. If three teams have identical records, they'd have the same weight balls. That's just an example.

The lack of guarantee is what I like. It makes it interesting. I think it would be good, I just don't know how to best incorporate it into the NFL. There's a lot of little reasons in my mind, but I'm not smart enough to lay it out.

I do think the rookie wage dealio will help eliminate a lot of the little reasons in my head.
