Is there cause for concern that we our 28th in the league in Rushing yards allowed when we were 1st a year ago?

To be honest im not concerned..

But will we return to at least top ten in rushing yards allowed by the end on the season?
Thoughts?

Honestly, I'm not concerned with our stats for run defense. I know how good we are at stopping the run. IDC how good we are compared to the rest of the league after 2 games.

They can run all day if they want but if we are top 10 in points allowed we are doing well. Points is what matters.

If you get rid of Vick's 103 yards rushing we have a different story. Considering most of the those yards were from vick escaping sacks.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Let the rushers get their yards. As long as the quarterback is ineffective and opposing defenses stay out of the end zone, the Packers will win.

That #2 ranking was severely skewed by the fact that the Packers' special teams were so atrocious last year, opposing offenses were working with short fields several times a game. The defense gave up fewer yards than average because other teams had so few yards to cover.

We're averaging over 30 points per game. We're allowing 13.5. Let them get their rushing stats. I'll take the points.

I disagree. I like it and hope he continues the effort. It doesn't hurt anyone and gives us all something else to discuss.

The numbers may not measure consistency a tthis point, but they still compare us to the rest of the teams since we all have played the same number of games. I enjoy them as a talking point as well.
