Dark Side has good songs. I decided to only have one album per group. Some tough choices. I liked more of the songs on The Wall.

Well, the Wall had more songs. Some of them are quite, well, boring. Gilmour wasn't too fond of the Wall musically and Wright was on his way out when the Wall was made. It was almost like a Waters solo album.

Not saying I don't like the Wall. It's a good album. But Dark Side of the Moon was solid all the way through and had more "music" and more melody. It was also more a group effort with all four of them doing a lot of experimenting.

As for some of the others you mentioned, I do like Mamas and the Papa and CCR. Fleetwood Mac, I liked their earlier stuff better with Peter Green. (Does that make me a hipster?). Styx I need to give another listen to. I wasn't into them in the 70s. I don't know which albums Keith Moon was on, but I liked his drum playing.

The Wall won out for "non musical reasons."

Keith Moon was with The Who until Sept of 1978
Wiki lists these albums on The Who site .

Studio albums

My Generation (1965)
A Quick One (1966)
The Who Sell Out (1967)
Tommy (1969)
Who's Next (1971)
Quadrophenia (1973)
The Who by Numbers (1975)
Who Are You (1978)

long list harder to cut and past on the discography page.  mainly due to the ranking of their records in the various countries.

Now more along Rockmolder's tastes, my fave non-Metal albums recently were Radioheads' The Bends and OK Computer, Arcade Fire's album with those Neighborhood songs (the entire album was excellent except for that song Haiti which I always skip). I really liked the Killers' album before Sam's Town. I have no idea why Rock likes Sam's Town as I hated that album. And a few more but I'm having a brain fart. I'd love to give Muse a spin. Some of their songs are fabulous but haven't heard any of their albums the whole way through.

Been listening to a lot of Loreena McKennitt too.

I hope no one takes this as a racist comment because I don't mean it to be one.

My wife and I went to see her mother at a physical therapy rehab center yesterday. (knee replacement) We stayed at a nearby hotel so we could visit with her again this morning then meet up with our kids and have Easter dinner with them.

We had just left the room and were walking to the elevator. There was a little Black boy about 4 or 5 years old running down the hallway. He had his swimming trunks on and he was headed for someone's room. I assume he was going swimming and was waiting for the others in his group before he could go downstairs.

He was talking to himself the whole way down the hall. Got to the desired room then started back down the hall the other direction. Once again talking to himself. He was right behind us as we turned the corner to the little hallway where the elevators were located. As the youngster passed us I thought he said, "...white folks better watch out..."

The maintenance man was working on one of the garbage cans so I didn't say anything until we were in the elevator and the door was closed. I asked my wife what did he say. She wasn't sure. She thought it was something entirely different. I said I didn't think so and repeated what I thought it was. I said it must be lyrics to a rap song.

The reason I am posting it here is I wonder if any of you younger people who listen to rap have heard lyrics similar to this. I really don't care just curiosity. I did a google search and could not find anything remotely close.

Zero2Cool (5-May) : Ravens release Justin Tucker, err D. Watson Jr?
Zero2Cool (5-May) : Cardinals have signed TE Josiah Deguara.

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Packers did not activate the fifth-year options for linebacker Quay Walker, with the goal of signing him to a contract extension.
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : from a head left turn?
packerfanoutwest (1-May) : someone drunk?
Zero2Cool (1-May) : Unlikely.
dfosterf (30-Apr) : How long until Jeff Sperbeck's family sues John Elway ?
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
beast (30-Apr) : Sounds like P Luke Elzinga has a rookie try out opportunity from the Titans
