Good to see Aaron Rodgers get his mojo back today, although it took longer than I thought it would. I actually thought he played no better in the first half than he did against the Eagles. Several of his throws were off target, including one to Finley at the goal line that was almost picked off and may have been returned for a 100 yard TD if it had been picked. Also, he strangely kept forcing the ball to James Jones, who wasn't very open.

He did much better in the second half, though. The scrambles were good for him. Scrambles give a QB confidence sometimes in the same way that a basketball player gets confidence from making an easy basket. Scrambles also open up the defense. Rodgers rolled in the second half and had a very nice day overall, taking what the defense gave him, which ended up being quite a bit.

Yeah, seemed like he settled down a little bit. Maybe. I think they were targeting the dude who was covering Jones. He was the weak link in that secondary, which actually is somewhat deep. Not sure though. Jones needs to get his feet down in the field of play.

Maybe with all the MVP buzz he got after preseason got him rattled in Week 1 and the first half this week. In the second half after he made some good throws it almost seems like he settled down and looked like the Rodgers have come to expect.

As off as last week was, today he found his groove. I know it was only the Bills but damn the packers looked very good.

I think he is trying to hard to live up to the hype.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

it really looked to me like he was a little jittery trying to force quick releases.
he got more settled and comfortable with the protection and was a little more deliberate with his throws.

Thought he was amazing in the second half. He just needs to get in rhythm. Hopefully he can do it against Chicago early because that's going to be a big game now. Well, a big game for week three.

I agree. He looked a bit off timing wise in the 1st half. Then he settled down and started throwing more like we expect.
Our defense kept us in the game until our O finally started to roll.
We need a quick start against the hated Bears.
Don't even let them THINK they can beat us.
Win next week, and we sit alone at the top of the division.

This was the type of game where, in the past, the Packers would implode. They would play down to their competition, let shitty teams hang around and then have some catastrophic bullshit happen. Even last year that happened.
Well they still do that apparently, but they were able to pull their heads out of their asses two weeks in a row. Thanks to the defense, imo.
