Okay, so obviously with Justin out, and the signing of Wynn, Wynn is activated, right? Or one of the DL we had inactive I assume.

With Ryan Grant's spot "up in the air" who do we activate in his place?

Quinn Johnson?

I think we should activate Quinn this week so Kuhn can be focused on taking carries at RB and not be forced to play double duty the entire game.

Last week the inactives were FB Johnson, OT Lang, OG McDonald, OT Newhouse, DE Neal, TE Quarless, CB Underwood, DE Wilson...

Neal and Underwood will be active IF they're healthy. Replacing them on the inactive roster would be DE Wynn CB Lee IF they're healthy.

I see OG McDonald and OT Newhouse being inactive all year unless injuries on the OL become horrible. TE Quarless will probably be inactive most of the year as well unless a TE injury.

I also think with the vet starting OTs looking rusty and Tausher limpping badly at one point that they shoul make Lang active and with short of RBs Kuhn might focus on RB this week and there for maybe make Johnson active.

If I got to choose the inactives this week it would be

OG McDonald, OT Newhouse, TE Quarless, DE Wilson, DE Wynn, CB Lee, RB Nance and CB Underwood.

I think Underwood's injury will need more time to heal and I think the Packers DBs can handle the Bills WRs with out Lee and Underwood. And no way Nance knows the playbook yet or enough to have too many options with him.

I think against the Eagles you use more DB's than LB's because of their passing attack. And adversely I feel we would use more LB's than DB's against the Bills because they are more of a running team than passing, I think?

I think Wilson is active before Wynn, by virtue that he made the team over Wynn, but Wynn has more experience so you never know.

Also, i think you want Johnson active so Kuhn take take plenty of reps at RB... Can you imagine a backfield consisting of Johnson and Kuhn? crazy...

I said it in another thread as a joke, but I was half serious when I said it. RB takes no brains to play unless he's a 3rd down back (picking up blocks, receiving). Aaron could simply tell Nance where to run and doesn't really need to know the playbook like an OT, C, or receiver would.

Besides, he's not going to be in on that many plays anyways. He shouldn't have too much to learn the first week.

We could use Nance to give Brandon a breather. Kuhn may run people over but he's not going to get us huge gains. I'd rather have Nance in there unless it's a short yardage situation.
