Well, I think they will be looking at the Bills offensive firepower.. which honestly is more ground based and making some determinations based upon that.

Meaning heavier on the defensive box type layers on defense to keep them fresh and more than likely the same type of sets on offense, however I would expect us to try and grind it out later in the game and establish some things upon the ground.. which may mean Quinn gets a gameday nod to punish them late with Kuhn pounding the rock.

[quote="beast"]Last week the inactives were FB Johnson, OT Lang, OG McDonald, OT Newhouse, DE Neal, TE Quarless, CB Underwood, DE Wilson...

Neal and Underwood will be active IF they're healthy. Replacing them on the inactive roster would be DE Wynn CB Lee IF they're healthy.

I see OG McDonald and OT Newhouse being inactive all year unless injuries on the OL become horrible. TE Quarless will probably be inactive most of the year as well unless a TE injury.

I also think with the vet starting OTs looking rusty and Tausher limpping badly at one point that they shoul make Lang active and with short of RBs Kuhn might focus on RB this week and there for maybe make Johnson active.

If I got to choose the inactives this week it would be

OG McDonald, OT Newhouse, TE Quarless, DE Wilson, DE Wynn, CB Lee, RB Nance and CB Underwood.

I think Underwood's injury will need more time to heal and I think the Packers DBs can handle the Bills WRs with out Lee and Underwood. And no way Nance knows the playbook yet or enough to have too many options with him.

why would nance be inactive we only got 1 RB then?Ik kuhn has shown good things at RB but cmon we need at least 2 active RBs..
also I would like to see what quarless has but I guess crabtree shown more.

Edit:I guess your right about the playbook thing but who know's he could learn it fast lol.

I agree I want Nance out there and give him some reps BUT the Bills have been studying the Packers film longer than Nance has been on the team.

If he learns the playbook well enough they could sit a LB instead of him... but the LBers also play STs...

If it was just TE I don't think Crabtree would be active... the reason Crabtree is active and made the roster is mainly STs... he's route running is pretty bad... he's mainly just a blocker at TE. BUT Kuhn was just a blocker as well and they're slowly brought him along as a RB and he's getting better and better. They're doing the same thing with Crabtree, ST and blocking until he gets better at running route.

At TE I think Quarless is better than Crabtree. But Quarless doesn't excel on ST like Crabtree does.

Edit: Alright I've changed my mind.... sit Bishop (hamstring) and play Nance as a 3rd guy.... also not practicing is Neal and Woodson. If Neal can't go then Wynn plays (Wynn has played on STs in the past, Wilson hasn't), and I'm gonna guess Woodson can go but if he can't then Lee goes.

Alright I might just be cocky on this one... but I feel like the Packers should be able to beat the Bills even with out Woodson... :buzzsaw:

We have to activate at least one of Wilson and Wynn, maybe both. Neal is still suffering and the Bills only threat is their run game. We need some big bodies on the DL to clog up the run lanes, there will be much less nickel D than against the Eagles.

The Bills OL is pretty bad from what I've heard/seen. If so forget clogging tell the DL to get in the back field and mess up those plays before they get to the line. (but watch out for screens).
