ya jackson is totally psyched as you can tell from his interview - I thought he was really good a couple years ago. So hopefully he gets back to that.

Im more worried about our Dline at this point then our RB situation.
Jackson and kuhn or 2 solid guys ...
just get danny woodhead and we are set ;)

I just don't like how Jackson is so slow up to the line. Waiting for blocks to take place is one thing, but when you jogwalk up to the line, that gives the secondary that much more time to key on the run and come up for a tackle. I loved how Grant was looking on Sunday. He looked like he did when he first started playing for us. He was hitting the holes full speed, and since he did that, he had approx 5.5 yds a carry until he went down. I would like to see Jackson do the same, speed up his game a little. That being said, I do like him and am excited to see what he can do for the team.

I loved how Grant was looking on Sunday. He looked like he did when he first started playing for us. He was hitting the holes full speed, and since he did that, he had approx 5.5 yds a carry until he went down.

I think the Packers will try to teach Nance to be a 3 down RB like they do with all of the RBs. I think they'll be working Kuhn mainly at RB this week.

It will be interesting to see if FB Johnson and OT Lang come off the inactive list or not and who replaces them if they do.

If that's the case, and I fully expect that it may be, then I think we will give him around 10 touches and have Rodgers throw the ball A LOT. This won't really be a problem since we are playing Buffalo and I don't expect that they will give us much adversity. Also, it will be great practice for Rodgers (which is needed after Sunday) for the future games that we may need a full aerial assault. It would make sense that Kuhn would be the backup for sure this week and depending on how Nance comes along he would move into that spot soon.

I think Jackson will do fine and doubt the loss of Grant will change the run/pass ratio McCarthy wants. With Jackson being a good runner, blocker, and, pass receiver his presence in the backfield on the early downs will allow for a lot of flexibility in the play calling.

I think with Jackson in a full backfield we may see more variations than what we saw with Grant behind the FB.

I can see Kuhn being used as the short yardage back with BJax taking most of the reps including third down.

We've spent two years moulding him into the perfect 3rd down back. We dont then turn over those duties to an UFA rookie who could miss a blitz pick up and see Rodgers injured.

Bjax and Kuhn will get most of the reps with Nance spelling Jackson to keep him fresh.

Also, i dont like the idea of having Jackson and Nance on the field on 3rd down. That would mean two of Finley, Jennings, Driver, Jordy or Jones wouldnt be on the field and they are better players.
