Ty and Lacy as a one two punch.
If Lacy can stay healthy (a big if) he still could make a big difference.
And Monty showed he can carry the rock.

I don't want Lacy back, he doesn't want to play football as you could see in his commitment. I would like to go into the year with TY, Rip, Crockett. Look at the Pats and you see what they do with a good receiving back in White. Plus why waste a high draft pick on a rb when we don't try keeping one going in a game. Plus i seen on NFL network that DJ has us taking TJ Watt with our 1st pick :)

Lacy and Ty are not reliable. Montgomery with sickle cell trait is a threat to miss blocks of time all the time and he can't carry it all that much anyway.

Eddie does play hard but he's disgraceful in the way he handles himself making him unreliable. Plus, he has those asthma issues that can strike at any time. Plus he had that toe issue when he got drafted that caused some teams to believe he'd last about 4 years.

Banking on Ty and Eddie seems to be a fool's game. We need a young stud without these concerns those two have. Love Rip but not totally sure he's going to be able to be as effective if he's the main guy for long stretches.

I still want the Packers to trade up in the first round and pick Dalvin Cook out of FSU.

Why of why is everyone wanting a stud rb, Rodgers and MM won't stick with the running game anyways. We could have Elliott in our backfield and he would still be lucky to get over a 1100 yards. We need a receiving back that can carry the ball but also cause mismatches in the passing game.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

You did touch on a point from my OP. Is it even a good idea to have a great RB because we have Rodgers and do you want the ball out of his hands?

He averaged something like 6.5 yards a carry during his college career. Give Aaron and this offense that type of weapon and our offense will be on a totally different level than we've seen since Ahman Green's 1800 yard season.

Teams do have some off-the-field concerns about Cook and his character. He escaped some legal issues last year, but teams say that Cook has an entourage of gang bangers and they worry Cook drinks too much. Staying out of trouble is a concern that teams have.

He was accused of punching a woman outside a bar but was found not guilty. Close to being Ray Rice or Joe Mixon.
