Just got home from work and got the bad news. That injury looked bad to me when it happened, like maybe even 6-8 weeks, but a whole season? What a drag. He was such a perfect RB for this offense. Not hugely talented, but just a really nice fit wit his running style.
Jackson is almost as good as Grant, but there's a huge void behind him now. It's lucky that Jackson has had such a good off season. He picked a good time to step up his game. If he stays healthy, which is a big if, he should put up the same kind of numbers as Grant did.
Zero mentioned screen passes. The Packers ran a couple of really nice screens in the preseason. I would love to see them run a couple of those per game.
What I like best about Brandon Jackson is how he fights for yardage at the end of a carry. He picked up a first down that way late in the game against the Eagles.
