I don't think this ends our season at all. I really like B-jax he just needs an opportunity he is a solid RB and should be able to carry the load. The only concern is he is somewhat injury prone himself. Provided he stays healthy himself we will be fine IMHO. I actually think RB is the easiest position on the field to replace.

RB is completely dependent on the line to block well. If they open up holes any RB can run through them. What does Ryan Grant do that is so irreplaceable? I don't ever see him make many people miss, he takes exactly what the line gets him. It's not like we are losing a Chris Johnson type player.

I like the Jets' RB/WR Danny Woodhead... he's on their 53 man roster so probably have to trade a late round pick but the kid has good speed and hits holes with out dancing too much like Jackson does at times...

I think he will stay healthy,I watched his locker room interview and he said he didn't take better care of himself and didn't do the little things in 2007,08,maybe 09.This year he got stronger according to him and does the little things to stay upright. But of course it football injures can happen but its good to see him committing to things like this.

we need to draft a badger running back in the next couple years lord knows they have some damn good ones Clay, Bell, White, Brown

I love Clay, but he's slower'n mud - he'll be a FB in the NFL. White's just a freshman, but he looks like a good one.

Take a look at the RBs at Virginia Tech. Ryan Williams is a sophomore this year, and he is one of the best backs in the country.

Just got home from work and got the bad news. That injury looked bad to me when it happened, like maybe even 6-8 weeks, but a whole season? What a drag. He was such a perfect RB for this offense. Not hugely talented, but just a really nice fit wit his running style.

Jackson is almost as good as Grant, but there's a huge void behind him now. It's lucky that Jackson has had such a good off season. He picked a good time to step up his game. If he stays healthy, which is a big if, he should put up the same kind of numbers as Grant did.

Zero mentioned screen passes. The Packers ran a couple of really nice screens in the preseason. I would love to see them run a couple of those per game.

What I like best about Brandon Jackson is how he fights for yardage at the end of a carry. He picked up a first down that way late in the game against the Eagles.

I was sure this was going to be season ending when I saw him hobble off on Sunday.

When Mike said it was a "Significant Injury" that made me all the more convinced he was done. It is a shame.
