This is a downright stupid statement.

It's not a stupid statement at all to hope that one of our players turns into a lightning fast player who's doing fairly well in the NFL. Granted, there's no chance in hell of it happening, lol.

I always get two feelings when Brandon Jackson recieves the handoff

1) He may keep his legs churning and get a couple more yards
2) He may fumble

I do think number 2 is unwarranted, however my first feeling is evident in the limited time he sees.

I think the basis for the drop off analysis will not be able to be made until Jackson starts to make mistakes, if he does at all.

Ryan Grant is solid, but his physical tools are prototype "solid, unspectacular back"

Ryan Grant's major pluses come on his consistency and his excellent concentration after the hit. He may not hit the hole and make cuts as often as we would like, but he darn sure does protect the rock.

If Brandon Jackson can stay healthy and mistake free, I have a feeling he will compliment our passing attack the same way Grant does.

You're right, my bad. I meant to imply that expecting something like that was extremely unfair.

I wouldn't be too hasty. Against the Bills I think we are just fine with Jackson and Kuhn, with Quinn being actually in the game some as fullback if Kuhn takes too many carries at RB.

Losing Grant is bad but it's not the end of the world. I'm sure Jackson can and will have a 1000 yards season. Jackson has some great cuts and with more reps now he can show us what his made of.

The thing I'm worried is if B Jack can stay healthy for the whole season. If I'm not mistaking his been injured quite often too.

Two roster spots have opened up on the 53-man roster. I'm looking forward to seeing who fills them.

"Nonstopdrivel" wrote:

Well, one of them will be Jarius Wynn.

I'm extremely interested to see who we pick-up to fill the RB void, though.

Well I would rather pick someone up then wait.If we pick someone up they could have a chance to learn the offense. So for me its now or wait to pick someone up we need someone early than late.
